My daughter was the new kid last year, and listening to "We have a new student…" together helped her open up about her own feelings. The three narrators make it feel like a real conversation, not just a story.

As a teacher, I appreciate how this card handles the topic of being new and different with such grace. The three narrators give it a richness that makes it feel less like a lesson and more like a real conversation.

My daughter just started at a new school, and having three narrators share this card’s message made her feel understood in a way I couldn’t. The empathy in “We have a new student…” really hit home for both of us.
