Yoto Mini (2024 Edition)

Two weeks in and our toddler still hasn’t dropped it—the card slot is sturdy enough that even her throws haven’t cracked anything. The screen-free setup is a godsend for car rides, and we’ve already burned through a full day of battery on one charge.

My 6-year-old grabbed it the second it came out of the box and figured out the card-swapping on her own within a minute. The 2024 model feels sturdier than I expected for something this light, and the battery has lasted us a solid week of daily car rides. It's so nice to hand her something that does

The screen-free aspect is such a relief—my kid can navigate the cards on their own while I actually get to cook dinner in peace. The speaker is plenty loud for a small room, and the battery has held up through days of back-to-back stories.
