As part of the Waytoplay family of flexible toy roads, this set is designed to deliver the longest, most expansive play experience yet. In this review, we'll dive deep into what makes the Highway Set stand out, how it compares to the Expressway, and why it's a must-have for any young road enthusiast.

Waytoplay has built a reputation for creating durable, flexible, and endlessly creative toy roads that can be shaped into any configuration imaginable. The Highway Set takes this concept to the next level, offering a substantial length of track that encourages large-scale layouts, collaborative play, and hours of imaginative storytelling. Whether your child is a fan of racing cars, building cities, or simply loves the open road, the Highway Set promises to deliver.

What's in the Waytoplay Highway Set?

The Waytoplay Highway Set is a comprehensive kit that includes a generous amount of flexible track pieces, designed to create a long, winding highway. The set typically includes straight sections, curves, and intersections, allowing for a variety of configurations. The pieces are made from high-quality, durable rubber that is both flexible and sturdy, ensuring they can withstand the rigors of enthusiastic play.

One of the standout features of the Highway Set is its length. With more straight pieces than other sets, it's perfect for creating long stretches of road that mimic real highways. This makes it ideal for children who love to see their toy cars zoom across long distances. The set also includes a few special pieces, such as road markings and signage, to enhance the realism and play value.

• Includes multiple straight sections for long-distance play
• Flexible rubber material that bends into any shape
• Compatible with all other Waytoplay sets and accessories

Key Features and Benefits

The Waytoplay Highway Set is engineered for maximum play value. The flexible road pieces can be connected in endless ways, allowing children to design their own highways, complete with curves, hills, and even multi-level intersections. The durability of the material means the road can be twisted, bent, and rearranged without losing its shape, providing a long-lasting toy that grows with your child's creativity.

Another benefit is the ease of storage. Unlike rigid track systems, Waytoplay roads can be coiled up or folded into a compact size, making them perfect for travel or quick cleanup. The Highway Set is also compatible with other Waytoplay products, such as the Arches - Starter set and the Back and Forth car, allowing you to expand your child's play world seamlessly.

• Endless configuration possibilities for creative play
• Durable, flexible material that resists wear and tear
• Compact storage and portability

Highway vs. Expressway: What's the Difference?

If you're trying to decide between the Highway Set and the Expressway, you're not alone. Both are excellent choices for building long roads, but they cater to slightly different play styles. The Expressway is a great starting point for beginners, offering a moderate length of track that's perfect for small spaces. The Highway Set, on the other hand, is designed for those who want to go big, with significantly more track to create expansive layouts.

The Highway Set is also a better choice if you plan to combine it with other sets or accessories. Its longer length makes it ideal for building a complete road system, complete with overpasses and interchanges. If you're looking for a set that can grow with your child's imagination, the Highway Set is the more versatile option.

• Highway Set offers more track length than Expressway
• Highway Set is better for large-scale layouts and combining with other sets
• Expressway is more compact and suitable for smaller spaces
