Odważny

Merida’s headstrong personality really comes through in this junior novel retelling, so my 8-year-old felt like she was reliving the film scene by scene. The chapters are short enough that we finished one each night before bed, and the archery moments got her totally hooked.

My daughter listened to this on a long car ride and was completely hooked by Merida's story. It's a nice junior novel version that captures the movie's adventurous spirit without being too long for younger kids.

The retelling stays really close to the film, so my daughter can follow along even though she’s just learning to read chapter books. Merida’s archery scenes are described with enough tension to keep her hooked every night.
