Inspired Tales: Volume 1 includes four fabulous stories written by the wonderful winners of Yoto’s Inspired Tales writing competition in 2021.

These stories were hand picked by a panel of judges and turned into this one-of-a-kind Yoto Card. There were no limits on the entrants’ creativity, so be prepared for the silly, the spooky, the whacky and the wonderful.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from stories written by kids, but my 8-year-old was completely absorbed by “Superhero Stink Bombs” and asked to hear it again right after it finished. The fact that the authors are 8-13 makes the whole thing feel more relatable and inspiring for a young listener.
