From the Creator: Naomi, Margareta and their friends have chosen music to help sooth you to sleep with a melting pot of folk tunes, classical music and poetry. So sit back and relax for the journey to the land of nod!

Meet the creator.

This delightful second album of lullabies and night music from Naomi, Margareta and their Swedish friends will inspire your dreams and warm your soul. Relaxing you into a deep slumber through their rich collection of beautiful, European tunes, you will hear traditional lullabies in Swiss-German, Yiddish, German, French, Scots, and English, some translated poetry from Norway and even a spot of Shakespeare. The musicians improvised on their favourite melodies by Telemann, JC Bach, Bartok, Warlock, Schubert including a composition by Naomi and recorded it in a cosy studio in Gothenburg. Gentle spoken introductions paint scenes of moonlit skies, rustling leaves, sleepy animals, and drifting stars. A tender journey into the heart of night and the magic of dreams.

Ryan ★★★★★

I’ve been falling asleep to this every night for a week and the blend of poetry and folk tunes is genuinely calming. The way it weaves classical pieces in between the softer tracks keeps my mind from wandering.

Avery ★★★★★

The mix of folk songs, classical pieces, and spoken poetry caught me off guard in the best way. The transition from a lively fiddle tune into that soft lullaby around track five is exactly what my restless brain needed at 2 a.m.

Amelia W. ★★★★★

I’ve been playing this on repeat the last few nights and the mix of folk tunes with classical pieces keeps my mind from racing. The poetry between tracks is a nice palate cleanser, though I do wish the whole thing ran a bit longer. Still, it’s become my go-to wind-down.
